You are correct and unfortunately it's as basic as that, we have been deemed key workers, and the general public don't help by buying all this online stuff.

royal mail are doing this on Facebook saying how critical they are in this crisis. I delivered a cushion and a jumper today among all the other crap I had to deliver, they are putting us all at major risk.

Even if we have key worker status, which is not actually clear in Scotland as the designation has been left to individual local authorities, if the 2m distancing rule and other health and safety rules are not being met in the workplace then the workplace should be closed. This was a clear statement from the First Minister of Scotland yesterday.
