Has any postmen been informed that a customer on their delivery has contracted the Corona Virus or sadly even died? Is Royal Mail being informed and not passing on this information? There are many people who have been tested positive in the UK, where do these people live, they no doubt receive mail. I know we only put parcels on the doorstep and stand back now but I feel that posties should be made aware of this to make sure there is no contact. We could in the past few weeks have been unknowingly passing on this dreadful virus. Our local Hospital have said in a media release after their first deaths from the virus a couple of weeks ago that they would be making intensive contact searches, surely this would have meant that they contacted Royal Mail (the hospital may not have done this)..... but if they did, where did this information go? Just a thought.
My deepest sympathy and thoughts goes out to all the friends and family of those that have sadly passed away.

I'm aware of one confirmed case on my duty (not a death, just hospitalised). I know who it is. I was informed through a mutual friend.
I have no idea if RM know about the individual. I doubt it.
