AMAZON.
HAVE AMAZON DROPPED TNT AND RETURNED TO ROYAL MAIL?.....We were told in a furore of publicity during the strikes that Royal Mail, had lost the contract with AMAZON to TNT resulting in multi-millions of income being lost. This week on delivery I notice that the postage label on Amazon packages has returned to ROYAL MAIL. Is this the case, have seen or heard nothing in the press!

On my day off i got a knock on the door , it was some-one (not in uniform) asking me to sign for a parcel that was from Amazon.
As he was leaving i noticed that his van had nothing advertised on it , no logo, nothing so where he worked or came from ive no idea.
And yes today i delivered a parcel myself from Amazon but stamped by RM.

That might be the "Home Delivery" franchise sometimes called HDNL - they use "White van" men a lot. https://www.hdnl.co.uk/Index.aspx?PageId=29Regal wrote:On my day off i got a knock on the door , it was some-one (not in uniform) asking me to sign for a parcel that was from Amazon.

I've noticed lots of packets with TNT stickers. I figured we have to do their packets now aswell as their letters and Saturday Mailsort from cheap and out of date mailing lists.
I think it is wrong that we deliver letters with TNT etc written on them. They buy a service from us to deliver the items so we should have our 'stamps' on the letters. They merely collect them in bulk and so they should have their logos on their lorries.
It is a small point but if we deliver it then it should bear our stamps.
