Check the sticky posts up the top of this section, the other day it said all get full pay for self-isolation absence, regardless of whether it is you showing symptoms or another household member.Pancake123 wrote:Can anyone clearly explain if we get paid or not because of 7/14 days of home isolation ?

Only exception was if you have had six months of full sick pay in the last four years.
Think it also said this would be reviewed at end of March.
But check the sticky, there have been close to daily updates this last week.

It’s terrible because I asked manger and said only get paid if you’re sick and have to isolate for 7 days , but if family member has virus and you isolate for 14 days you have to use holiday or only get statutory pay, this needs to be clarified because if this is true it’s a disgrace as supermarket are paying full pay regardless 7 or 14 daysPancake123 wrote:Can anyone clearly explain if we get paid or not because of 7/14 days of home isolation ?

Ignore managers, read this...

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low life c***s they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
