Royal Mail brief to managers : New ways of working in delivery, processing and distribution
This is for immediate implementation. CWU Reps at all levels need to engage managers as a matter of utmost urgency. We are asking our divisional reps to coordinate this activity and provide us with a branch by branch report by the close of play today.
If these things are not in place you should not be working and the union will support any member who takes this position.

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

CWU know fine well we're in the centre of it all and how inadequate everything is. They should take a stance and simply say "safety first, and right now anywhere within RM is not safe - close down".

Social distancing is still not been adhered too in our office, we don’t have enough vans so we are having to take our cars out, we have ran out of gloves but believe these are due back in tomorrow, managers are asking part timers to start at 11.30 moving forward and full timers to start at 7am however this will still not resolve the issues we are having at the moment! It would make more sense to suspend the services until further notice instead of placing everyone’s lives at risk!

A dozen of us in a shed on top of each other, never had any gloves or masks or hand sanitizer issued - why should I have to go in?

Got gloves today, all gone and too small. I've burst through 6 pairs today.
