Only thing we deliver as essential is those NHS prescriptions and after those 1.5M letters that's it everything else is non essential, an inconveiniance yes but not essential.

Dunno about the rest of you but I never signed up to be some kind of invincible heroic postman pat or 4th emergency service. I hope we get told tomorrow to deliver the NHS letters (single deliveries) then shut down. Understand people will have ordered meds etc, they should be easily identifiable and can be picked out, put aside to be delivered by the army in full protective gear.

I’ll await the snowflake comments but we can no longer play Russian roulette with our health.
The day is gonna come when we’re all gonna have to testify.

100% it's a disaster waiting to happen especially on DOs

Royal Mail have done absolutely nothing for their staff in this crisis. A disgrace. Why am I not surprised?

:Applause 100% agree with you. I'm going in tomorrow where I'll keep my distance, pull out the NHS letter to the vulnerable and deliver them, and them ONLY. I'm then going home and I'm STAYING THERE! If anyone wants to sack me then go right ahead. This is life and death. I don't care less if this job is critical (delivering crap off the internet and gas bills). Mine and my family's life is a lot more critical!

Surely there must be some answers tomorrow regarding better protection for us. If they're going to continue to dodge the responsibility Royal Mail is going to face unprecedented staff shortages over coming weeks potentially having to suspend all deliveries across the country. There are many people willing to work but they demand better protection when working indoor and more clarity of dealing with potential covid-19 cases within the DO.
