Anyone tested positive

Has anyone been tested positive or know any other posties that have tested positive for covid-19?? We've had a few in our office sent home or have gone sick with flu like symptoms but haven't heard if any have been tested positive.

I don't even know how you even get tested. Back too work tomorrow after being in self isolation. Will be honest not sure if I had it but my temp has gone, but what ever I had it has knackered my breathing up. I've not been diagnosed with asthma but because my misses has load of inhalers I just used hers (bit naughty). Going to ring doctors up tomorrow and see what they suggest.

None dropped yet with symptoms, but a few self isolating.

One of my customers is a confirmed case though. He's currently hospitalised, but his wife is still at home.

AND! .....YOUR GOING BACK TO WORK TOMORROW!!!!!! REALLY? please don't.

NHS and .gov say if your temperature has gone after 7 days you're fine to go out off isolation. Tried finding info on it but can't find any.

It just feels like theres something sat on my chest and can't get a full breath. My misses inhaler relieves it a bit for about 30 mins too a hour. Will ring doctors at 8 tomorrow. Don't start till 8.15 so will see what they say.

If it wasn't coronavirus and you were just off with a chest infection would you consider yourself fit to go back to work?

I was off with a high temp sickness diarrhoea and sore throat. My chest has only started since Friday.

Look mate, this thing eats lungs. You have a problem with your lungs , ring your manager if they are not playing ball, say your gonna be off till your chest improves, self cert for a week then take it from there. Don't put yourself or colleagues at further risk. PLEASE. take care.

you're ticking at lot of the symptom boxes there CPTNM, there's not a full rigid understanding yet of the virus so a bit of discretion on the side of caution is probably the best way to go, so do the right thing and stay off work. Get well soon mate and take care of yourself.

Me and wife have had same symptoms this week and We’ve been off. Chest has never felt like this, thought I was gonna have a gripper the other night..
I haven’t had the cough, wife has the shortness of breath. I’m pretty confident it’s Coronavirus but no way to know. I don’t often get ill, too much of a coincidence.

I’m sure there was a list of positive tests in 3 or 4 offices in the document sent out last week, I don’t think I dreamt it but life seems like a permanent dream at the moment.

If you look at the numbers who work for RM if only 1% got it that’s over a thousand people, certainly makes you think.

No will test positive unless you are seriously unwell and admitted to hospital. They only test people admitted to hospital now.

Everyone else can self isolate to clear the virus if they had it.

There is a checklist of possible symptoms but not everyone will get all of them. Speaking to a doc mate who started working at the local covid hub says some people lose the sense of smell as well.

Jesys mate. Once it's on your lungs this thing can rapidly progress to failure of your breathing.

Please, please ring the NHS, ASAP.

And DO NOT GO TO WORK.
