New delivery methods needs introduced ASAP

D/D must stop until this has passed there not important at all.

The longer were out in the streets and the more gates and doorbell's we touch the bigger the chance to catch this virus and sitting inches away from you partner in a van .

RMG should get half of there work force on delivery to work Mon wed Fri doing there own dutys and no lapsing why risks going to extra house's to have a better chance to catch this virus,the other half on delivery do Tue Thur sat then rotate following week

Doing that shift pattern stops van sharing

This is already overdue. So close to a state of emergency and lockdown and it's business as usual other than ringing the bell and walking back along the path.

All our non drivers are staying in from tomorrow, and throwing off walks/door to doors, we lost 24 staff and drivers left working alone, just delivering to one of the duties one day, and the other duty the next-and it will stay this way all week-unless we lose more to self isolation or other ailments
there is little danger of any executive action from company in near future-it will be last man standing if corona continues !!!
Christmas/wettest February in meteorological history and now corona all in the space of 4 months
we all be going way beyond the call of duty all over the UK during that time which affected our health social and family life

yes van sharing should stop now, how many post persons are getting scare to come in. office with 50 plus staff all huddle together on the sorting and then going out delivering to 500 plus addresses. would also like to know do the customers know that they need to wipe the letters or parcels incase virus is on it. I WOULD thing delivery twice a week, so only a third of staff in. so we all work twice a week

Yesterday ,My partner went for a piss behind an empty house got back in the van then started to peel a orange without using sanitizer

I think we should at least have a sanitiser gel per van and masks. Masks may not keep all infection out but some protection is better than none. I can keep my distance from the public but not my partner/ people in the office. Was told that royal mail couldn't get hold of sanitizer and masks etc. Hard to believe, but if more people go off, they'll lose loads of money anyway, so think its in their interests to keep us healthy.
