No it's not.
Most of the things scientists know about COVid-19 comes from years of studying SARS, MERS and other Coronaviruses. When they told you it only lasted up to 72 hours on surfaces that was based on other similar viruses.

They're aware there are differences, they're also aware there are similarities.

I am guessing you posted the pic from one of the postie facebook groups, I have seen it and it was debunked also on there.
DO NOT post s**t on here from over there, ( and by that I mean everyone looking in not just the thread starter) if you're that worried talk about it over there.

Sorry if I have offended you or I was wrong where you got it from. I will then apologise.

There is a lot of s**t over there and I would rather it did not spill on to here!
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

It makes sense for people to assume that every surface is a potential contamination risk for COVID-19.

It doubly makes sense in our job where all of the parcels we handle have been handled by multiple sets of hands within the previous 24 hrs.

How long the scientific evidence actually says is pretty much irrelevant now that it's in this country big time.
