Not returning to work this coming week

We've not had any paper towels for must be 3 or 4 years now (might be more). They were replaced by hand driers

I think it sounds like most DOs are in a mess at the moment so there will be a lot of walks being delivered every other day at a minimum. Our DOM is talking about asking the MC to not send us any more mail if it gets really bad and we start piling up too much mail. Apparently RM have said we won't be employing any more staff even if we are short or Posties transfer or leave. Maybe not a good idea considering other companies are employing more staff.
Heard on Saturday that Watford were twenty five staff down. Our DO is only small but we have two on virus isolation, one sick and not returning, one just transferred out and I guess not being replaced, one on light duties, one just gone sick, another recovering from an operation and not returned yet. There is possibly days off and annual leave on top of that. I can see us maybe saying we can't do the D2Ds and they being returned in the near future.

You are implying people are skiving and trying to beat management?
What planet do you live on!? People are concerned about their health and the health of their loved ones. Many people and their families have underlying health conditions which could be fatal if they contract this.
You are being so blase about it so I'm guessing you are a young fit person who doesn't give a toss about his colleagues. Its not all about YOU!

This was I suspect a 2nd sock account if so he will be back.

When he makes an appearance and breaks the rules I will ban him again.

Don't respond to him, trolls get their kicks from that just report him and we will treat each case separately.

For now, this troll is under his bridge and I will keep putting him there even if it's just to protect the site.

What a post ? Unbelievable. Judgemental idiot. Health comes first & has to, otherwise everything else is futile. Been on the phone to a medical friend of mine & a paramedic who both reckon that RM are taking the pi?? with no facial protection in the DOs. I can understand if you are fit and a 30 year old the chances are remote that you will suffer anything but some of us have bigger concerns not just about ourselves but our family.
I am absolutely amazed there is no leadership being shown here, trousering that much in salary, I suggest someone near the top please say & do something and take action now. Even if you don't give a toss about your staff then at least - pretend you do !
Otherwise each day that the situation escalates, you really are conveying more and more what you think of us. We will remember that.

He wasn't being judgemental - that would mean he has an opinion he wishes to share.

He WAS a troll wanting to create a scene and cause division. He got what he wanted and has now been banned

Please don't respond to trolls, report them and we will deal with them. Trolls are pieces of human flotsam that don't deserve the respect of a single keypress in response. Ignore them, they want a reaction its what gives them a reason to be like they are.
