Take a look around you won't find many other job that pays what we get for what we do.
It time to except that we have had it easy for a long time and that royal mail is finished
It's time to get out

shaolin I TO VOTED YES ALONG WITH THE MAJORITY but please dont say things like that, reading through alot of posts our colleagues are well pissed off at the moment and do not want to here statements like that as its rubbing salt in and well you know what i mean.shaolin wrote:I think it about time we had to realize that we have a easy job.

PS My Reason for voting Yes, My National Union recommended a yes vote,My Branch recommended a Yes vote, and after reading the deal 3 or 4 times i decided it was a Yes vote for me as well. Will it come back and haunt me,i shall tell you in 6 months time once the dust settles

For the first time on 25 years I never recieved a ballot paper for this one, but I would have voted No. Unfortunately, the YES voters won the day. The Executive will say that theyhave lsitened to the members for the members have vote yes. This is like the Way Forward deal, nealry everyone will say they voted against it but it got in.
Colleagues, we have to stand tall here. You imagine how pleased the screws on this site will be reading about our moans and groans about democracy at work. I feel like going after 25 years and if the opportunity arises I may have to amke that decision until then I gotta get on with it.
Once more into the valley..blsh blah blah. It will soon be crimbo

It's just I got fed up with all the No's slagging off people who voted YES
My National Union recommended a yes vote, My Branch recommended a No vote
It's thing like that made me pissed off with it all. I felt that if we had got a NO vote the CWU would have become toothless, and royal mail could have done what they like anyway
