I have had folk asking why we are still delivering mail, I also have one that is now refusing all mail, I'm sure RM could offer a service, bit like keepsafe where we deliver all mail say once a week for the said customers or they could collect it from the office?
If your line manager insists on proof you've got coronavirus just walk about the streets coughing and looking like death then at least you'll get tested.
Police and public health officials to have powers to detain people who may be infected

Police, public health and immigration officers will be able to detain people suspected of having coronavirus under new emergency powers rolled out by the government.
The new guidance would allow the officials to return people to where they have been asked to stay during the virus outbreak, believed to be in a bid to curb people leaving hospital early. They will also have the power to take people to screening and testing facilities.
The bill says: “These measures look to fill existing gaps in powers to ensure the screening and isolation of people who may be infected or contaminated with the virus and to ensure that constables can enforce health protection measures where necessary.”

If they are refusing mail, kinda the same thing.
If a customer has had to close their own premises due to an outbreak, what would colleagues do with the customer’s mail?

Yeah loads of 70+ people in the supermarket today. Are they not able to buy online?
If I was at risk as much as these people are I would not be walking amongst hundreds of crazed shoppers.

Yeah we know but if you can't even arrange an online delivery for an elderly relative you're not much of a son/daughter/grandkid/neice/nephew/2nd cousin twice removed.
And yes I know there will be a very small proportion out there with no relatives but somebody, somewhere, surely etc.

It's really only what you would expect at times like this, because the army has such a broad church of skillsets (apart from the killing thing) they can virtually replace any shortage of key workers from fire fighters to medics, engineers to drivers, that's why they're on standby.
Of course should any serious bouts of civil disobedience occur they can also break heads so the next time you're fighting over loo roll in Tesco....have a word with yourself, in fact just have a feckin word with yourself anyway.
