Hi,

Myself and my family have been self isolating for a few days now, due to the household having some symptoms of the virus (which I don't have any currently), Royal mail manager phoned me on said that I would be paid for first 7 days and that after that he was no sure, essentially meaning ssp for the 7 days after I guess?
Is this the view of the company or just this office/manger?

Surely I should be signed off by the manager for the full 14 on full sick, due to medical grounds?

Been with the company for 10 plus years.

All managers should now know what the situation is for each different situation.
The fact that they don't just extra confirms what f***ing dicks they are, is it possible to hate them even more?

Give it time mate, I’m sure they will find another way to increase the hate we have for them. I asked a lino yesterday why a guy who is only back from a country that is infested with the virus is allowed in. He laughed and said no symptoms. I said government says he needs to self isolate. Lino says Nope conference call says he’s allowed in unless symptoms r shown. By which stage office is infected.
