Good luck to the Italians. They are doing what they deem to be right but look at the number of death over there. We have to make our decisions based on our own experience with the virus, which granted is very little and changing day to day and hour by hour. Looking after ourselves, our loved ones our work colleagues and our communities should be our number one priority not delivering someone's ebay order.

We are still 3 weeks behind the Italian model. s**t is about to get real big-time here in the next few weeks.

It would be incredibly foolish to feign illness or illness of partner if not the case

Because when you inevitably DO get it - yeve used that card already

Self isolation isn’t a one time only thing.

Read RMs statement about absence due to Coronavirus. Repeated or extended periods will be liable to further investigation. And quite right too. Anyone using this as a 'free lunch' deserves to get hauled over the coals....

Probably be the potential for the odd day when DOs will get all their mech as manual if a MC or MPU has too many mech trained staff off sick

If one person in any household has a persistent cough or fever, everyone living there must stay at home for 14 days.

Some people will take the piss, they always do.
Personally I think given what's going on with people dying it's pretty low.

This whole Coronavirus thing could sink the company, if I'm sick or told to isolate I'll be off work, if I'm fit to work I'll be in work. That's nothing to do with a great love for the company just my own self respect.

There are a number of circumstances where people will genuinely need to self isolate more than once. Acknowledged on mainstream news by medical professionals being called on for opinions and advice.

Leading people to believe they only get one “go” at it is actually against the governments plan and puts vulnerable people in danger.

I think that, in the absence of an actual negative test result, there are no circumstances where you would only have one week off.
