MRM.COM Coronavirus - latest advice and guidance and videos

https://www.myroyalmail.com/Coronavirus" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

We wish to reassure colleagues that since the beginning of the coronavirus outbreak, we have been closely following Public Health England and World Health Organisation (WHO) guidance so that we can provide advice on preventative measures and minimise the risks to our people.

The latest advice is being issued to our Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) business partners and to managers through our internal communications channels.

A detailed Questions & Answers document is available to view by all colleagues. (https://www.myroyalmail.com/node/14595" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) This is a fast-moving situation, and as such, we will be regularly updating this information page as well as the Q&As.

Should an employee be advised by NHS 111, the online self-assessment webpage http://www.111.nhs.uk/covid-19" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; or their GP to self-isolate, or they are responsible for looking after a child who has been advised to self-isolate, their manager will update our Self-Isolation Recording Portal.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

To be fair they’ve provided exactly what we asked for. Clear advice what to do regarding PDAs and doorstepping.

Just remember folks to watch the parcel get picked up, else you can’t leave it.

I agree this is the best way to go about things. But how can we practically leave a recorded letter on the doorstep, if its raining or windy?

If it’s raining so bad that it can’t survive one minute hanging out of a letterbox then just slip leave it.
