Management contacting me out of work.

Post by PostmanBitesDog »

In our office there are managers who won't answer their phones when they're on duty and we need to contact them for any important issues while we're out on our walks. Oftentimes we might get a text message reply from a particular manager that'll say, "Sorry I missed your call. Was in a meeting." But still no call back after they send their text. If we can't reach our usual DLM, we try another one and that can also prove to be a waste of time.

So it's one thing for managers to bother us when we have time off from work, but it's another thing when we need to contact them when they're at work but they refuse to answer their phone. :evil/mad

Is a DLM another term for a DOM? Wonder what would happen if you could ever get the phone number of their boss and phone their boss instead
