The £175 lump sum is paid pro rata - ie if you are on 30 hours you get 75%. For 25 hours you would get 52.5% (I make that £109.37p). And you get 5.4% of your weekly pay backdated to 1st October. Arrears of overtime increase (from 1st October) are usually paid a couple of weeks after the arrears of basic pay.

Sadly though loyal CWU members will loose 4 days back pay because of the strikes in early October.

It is important to clarify that we actually lose the backdated increase in pay relating to the four strike days, i.e. four-fifths of £17.55, or £14.04 (less tax)

I really think it's just another insult after the CWU settled for a deal that robbed us of SIX MONTHS of backpay for the period from April - October. What's another four days when people voted to in effect surrender 130 days backpay ?? :arrrghhh :shock:

what about people who have left RM since the 1st Oct, are they entitled to back pay from that date until the date they left

Sorry lOVEJOY, BUT I SPOKE TO WAGES AND THEY HAVE CONFIMED THAT ANYONE WHO HAS WORKED OR WAS IN EMPLOYMENT DURING THE DATES OCT01 TO WHENEVER THEY LEFT WILL RECIEVE A PAYMENT OF SOME SORT, AFTER ALL IT IS MONEY THAT YOU HAVE EARNED SO IT IS OWED TO YOU LEGALLY.
