Hello, I'd like to apply for a Postman role in my local area (I was a temporary for Christmas and loved it), though I have read from threads on here about having to do an aptitude test for the Postman role to be able to then be short-listed, if successful, for an interview?
I've looked about a bit and found that Talent Q is the company that provides the aptitude tests for Royal Mail, but I'm wondering if anyone would know whether it is the Aspects or Elements package that is sent for the Postman role? They mention on their website those packages you could buy to practice, but not (that I could see) which package is suited to which role you're applying for.

Talent Q Aspects or Elements Test Package?
Not worth buying anything. There are a couple of tests you have to do that are pretty basic including an observation type test. Just answer truthfully and go for it

Okay thank you very much for your reply. Do you remember at all the kind of questions you had, or if there is any way to prepare for them?

Talent Q Aspects or Elements Test Package?
Nothing you can do to prepare really as they are more common sense and personality based. For example in a certain scenario would either react xxx or xxx type of thing. The observation part tests whether you spot any differences like a 0 or an o in an address or an I or a 1 this part was also timed. My advice would be relax and no back ground distractions like the tv, phone or family members talking to you etc. They are straight forward so dont worry about them.
