Unofficial action is a no no,get on the vans, don't start early, don't use you Cars,no docket, take your meal breaks.
Cockney,slip them a Flyer.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been. My BFF Clash The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
well after our last wtl they are adamant the changes will come in, no matter what way the vote will go. We have be told that when this fantastic super duper walk sequencing machine comes in we will get our frames prepped quicker and be out earlyier. But i dont think so.

POSTMAN you say unofficial action is a no no, then go on to recommend a "work to rule"
Don't get me wrong I think work to rule is the way to go. But we must advise people that if you go down that route you must either insist to the screws that it's not a work to rule, you're just doing the job properly and don't want the docket right now, or accept that it's unofficial action and accept the consequences.
I know it's all fundamentally the same but the screws will use it against you if you don't choose your words carefully and there's no point getting in trouble if you dont need to.

You're spot on POSTMAN I'm just making sure people realise it's not a work to rule, you are just doing exactly what you're paid to do.
If the screws were doing their jobs properly they would be stopping us taking all these shortcuts anyway, but of course that's not in their best interest is it, coz then they'd have to go out and do some work for a change by finishing off the rounds that dont complete.
POSTMAN I'm with you 100% why wait for the ballot result, why are we not all doing our jobs by the book NOW ! ! !
Bill we're on the vans and doing all that s**t,check out the 'on the vans' and 'burslem boys' threads.
It's such a laugh doing it,no pressure and management tearing their hair out, moral with us is through the roof.
We even cheer when we get extra work in,one day we done a 2hr walk we got out so late.
