I feel the biggest problem in the three C's is the managers application of it. For example, someone could get misconducted for a missort whilst another postie could be completely overlooked for not scanning a collection box - especially if they do lots of favours i.e. overtime for the screws
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.

The way I look at this as a rep is that this is one of management's biggest weaknesses and I have exploited it to the maximum.especially if they do lots of favours i.e. overtime for the screws
I've routinely got people off things they would normally have been dismissed for purely on the basis that if a rule exists it has to exist for everyone.
If they want to set the bar low in order to keep their mates sweet we're all going to step over it.

Yes but the prepper hasn't noticed hes put 76 Somewhere St into 76 Somewhere Av on frame. Person delivering hasn't noticed either, as lets be honest, we all mostly concentrate on the house number. Both mistakes, but only one will get pulled up on it. Is this fair!richietns wrote:But the prepper hasn't physically put it through the door.Woody Guthrie wrote:A missort is the responsibility of the prepper.twoloops wrote:Are we taking mail delivered to the wrong address? If so are you also prepping the frame?Lawrencepa2014 wrote:Are they really worth the paper they’re written on or is there anything I can do about it now?
Assuming it's addressed properly a misdelivery is always the responsibility of the person who delivers the mail. It's a bit shitty to try to pass that buck down the line.
As I said, manager will never ask the right questions. Always speak to rep. Don't sign anything.

I believe we have them, we have full old timers that if they prep your frame 1 in 50 will be wrong & no one says anything? When really they should send them to vision express? It's amazing how many posties need glasses, but are to vane to wear themNewbie001 wrote: but the prepper hasn't noticed hes put 76 Somewhere St into 76 Somewhere Av on frame.
