royal mail disasters
why is it everything royal mail have done in the last couple of years turned into a disaster
consignia-what a waste of money that was.
the way forward-has been hopeless big time.
phantom shares-pie in the sky stuff.
new modes of transport ie new trolleys and bikes-shambles.
later starts- when xmas comes this will cause havoc if posties work to their time.
flexability-biggest joke ever see above.
conclusion-leighton and crozier collect your p45s on the way out

Because we have the finest brains in the British business world, at the helm of HMS Royal Mail.mailman71 wrote:why is it everything royal mail have done in the last couple of years turned into a disaster
"I say, Lt. Crozier, what's that looming up ahead of us?"....
"I think it looks like one of those ghastly iceberg thingys, captain Leighton, sir."
"Oh, jolly good, No.1, carry on full steam ahead."
"Aye, aye, captain."

The Titanic was a RMS - shows how long we have been lurching from one disaster to another.

Only seems like yesterday, TBT, that this marvellous decline our postal system's wallowing in, began.TrueBlueTerrier wrote:The Titanic was a RMS - shows how long we have been lurching from one disaster to another.
England 0

I don't know about you, but I think McClaren has a future with Royal Mail.

I think even if we do draw he could be facing a lot of pressure to go. His tactics and player selection in the first half were terrible. In fact 2nd half is better but still not good. We need another penalty.
In fact I would rather have McLaren at RM HQ at least he is honest when he is bumbling from one disaster to another.

New board member?
Surely Steve McLaren will be a nailed on RM board member after the managerial genius on display tonight?

I think he may be over qualified for RM. Is this the resumption of the Home Internationals next summer then, seeing as we ALL failed to qualify? Or if McLaren is still there (unlikely), England v Conference Select XITrueBlueTerrier wrote:I think even if we do draw he could be facing a lot of pressure to go. And in a rare cost-cutting exercise the White Star Line decided that only 20 lifeboats would be carried aboard Titanic, even though that meant that on her maiden voyage, she would only provide lifeboat capacity for 52% of the people aboard.TrueBlueTerrier wrote:The Titanic was a RMS - shows how long we have been lurching from one disaster to another.

Yep there it is poor pld Crosier jumped from the FA ship to this fine vessel of Royal Mail he appears to hold the midas touch only instead of everything turning to gold everything he touches starts to sink.....
Sadly they have turned around a buisness which must have had the largest amount of good will employees in the country, me for one would have gone out the way to assist in a delivery which would not of otherwise gone out.
But since management have declared we are over paid underworked etc its all I can do to do my own job properly in the alooted time. Hey ho still back to the defence of Mr McClaren well if he was to oust eithier Laurel or Hardy at the top he could not really do any worse could he?
