Scotland No 5 have recommended a YES vote!
I've already voted NO.
I havn't spoken to one person yet who intends to vote YES.
The final result will dictate whether the PEC truly represents the membership or not?

Plymouth have recomended a yes vote ,but most people that i have spoke to will be voting NO.Come on you Plymouth union leaders get behind your men don't do a Ian Holloway and stick with your men.

I have already posted my views mate on previous threads - just have a look.

If your branch has recommended a yes you should have been sent info from them explaining why!

Why i'm selling you out?? I'm voting yes but thats as far as it goes!! I haven't asked you or anybody else to vote yes

Unfortunately this is the only thing that lets down the democratic vote. Some vote yes when others want them to vote No. I am definetely voting No because I see the deal as a total sell out of the walk postmans rights. I can see where some Mail Centres might not be too upset by some of the deal, but for a walk postie the deal absolutely stinks. Basically DOUBLE WORK for less money. Yes I did say less money, and if you dont understand why, you need to go back and read the deal you are being offered again.

But have to say I respect anyone who votes either YES or NO, at least you are using your vote, and everyone is entitled to an opinion. EVEN ME

But dont think I wont try and change your mind.

As Dave Ward says those who just dismiss the deal out of hand as rubbish dont usually propose anything themselves and he also mentions those with a 'political agenda'-we all know who he's referring to.
Thank god for secret ballots in general or else ignorant thugs would have their way again like they did in the 1970's Labour would again be ousted and the Tories-the only other party with a chance of government- would if anything EXTEND anti-trade union legislation, privatise RM and smash the union to smithereens.

I can gladly say that my branch North West Central Amal recommended a No vote.
I just hope the members listen to the branch and read the reasons y or at least read the agreement because if they do that they will come up with a no vote on there own.

You mean like the Labour party are trying to do now!
By 'ignorant thugs' I suppose you mean ordinary working people trying to protect their jobs, pay and working conditions.
I cant remember this Labour government repealing any anti-trade union legislation - but they still want our money.
I hope everyone uses their vote.I hope anyone with any common sense votes NO and I hope that everyone abides by the result of the ballot.
