How does it work then if there's not enough guys wanting EVR?
What happens to the job losses then!

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Simple that postman

If a office is oversubscribed they let them all go and transfer the from the office were not enough want to leave.

Obvisouly the fine print will need to be carefully negotiated but that would be the basic principle on which the solution would be based on.

beware at some point the senior mens evrs changed to mutual termination of contract part way through the procedure we had loads up for it and most got accepted then it all went fuzzy and only the 40 to 50 year old bracket actually got evr, many of those who thought they were on their way got stopped money again i presume
did any one else notice on the video that evr was mentioned as a reason to vote yes,in otherwords voter no and there will be no decent pay offs
