RMC:CHANGES TO THE SITE:ALL PLEASE READ.

Due to some events happening on the site not just in the past few weeks but for a while now i have decided to make this post.
There has been complaints to me,the mods and on the board about certain stuff going on,and people are pissed off with it all.
So i'm going to ask you to read the RULES which will now be enforced as we have given some of you an inch and you have taken a mile.
This site is for All Royal Mail workers and customers and not for just 'the majority' of us who hold the same view.
There have been occasions when we get users on that have different views than the majority and they are immediately accused of being a 'scab' or a 'screw'.
This is not on and neither is the abuse they get.

Most users do not want to see a personal battle going on in a thread it spoils the thread and the nature of the board.
At the moment at the time of writing i know of a few users who 'just can't be bothered' to post up their views of the current deal as they feel they will be shot down like above.
These are senior members as well and it is a sad day on this site if our users 'can't be bothered' to try and have a discussion on here for fear of insults and abuse being thrown at them.

Yes we have had wind up merchants and users just coming on for a row but the fact is some of you feed them and then all hell breaks loose.
This has to stop and it WILL stop for the sake of the board,if you can't handle this post then i'm afraid it's time to move on.
If you can't handle reading or responding to different views regardless if they are managers or whoever then the same applies.

We've got something good going on here we are being linked eveywhere and we're getting some press attention,but this will stop if all they see is some of the abuse and crap posted at times.
You have always had free speech on here which will not stop but some of you are taking it too far.

It will be nice to read some more views on the situation. I can fully understand why some have been frightened to Post their views. The reaction that Lovejoy got, when he said that he will be voting for the deal, is a perfect example. Not everyone would have had the guts to stand up for their beliefs against such an onslaught.

The more different viewpoints we can see, the better our chances of sorting things out in the long run. We can't hope to repair the damage once this is over, unless we can understand each others views, and motivation.

Agree Andy, I'd only just joined the site and got similar treatment. Very hard to know who actually controls the site and I've not posted since for all the above reasons.

It's just playing into "Independent " Hellfail's hands , also the Guardian have twice mentioned this site which Royal Fail don't like full stop. Hence the Illiterate ,Abusive , Threatening Imbecilles comments on that paper's comment on this section by RM Senior Mgrs masquarading as the general public .

Hellfail did the vile bigotted skinhead's reunion slur in their Dark Side Article and indirectly mentioned RMC four times in one week. Royal Fail want to control everything that's Anal & the Walmart Culture for you .

A RM Senior Mgr allegedly did buy a MDEC Forum site so he could close it down but he only bought because he didn't have any legal grounds to have it closed down. :lfo :cfo

ABUSE IS OUT OF ORDER - I've seen all this before in another industry , Managers taking the money because "I can't work with the idiots in charge " , "I'm taking the money because I'm constantly undermined by ?? a manager below me but whoose the AM's blue-eyed boy , people moved sideways because "We no longer have confidence in your supervisoral abilities " ( He challenged the AM) .
I've some respect for some of those people that left on principle.

The rest was what some managers in a botched privatisation , in a ex nationalised industry were saying about being glad to take the money & run.

It's like turning the clock back to those days with :lfo & :cfo , RM's got profound organisational & cultural problems , but :lfo & :cfo are running everything down and throwing the baby out with the bath water .

Managers have a whole company structure to debate, as the leaked conference call shows.

Union leaders have an NEC and Wimbledon HQ to discuss and control Voice and union bumpf which they can send to every members' house, as all those glossy vote yes letters from Ward and Hayes shows.

MPs have Parliament and its bar, and if they are serious about doing something can make laws.

Postal workers have no democratic forums, no rank and file organisation, and unlike the Joe Public we have a direct, immediate interest in the post - besides using it like everybody else, we work in it, know how it works from the inside, and we are one of the strongest unions in the britain. Modernisation is an assault on the service and an assault on one of the strongest unions in britain, busting it would be a blow to the other public sector unions. This strike is very important and only the rank and file can win it as the dodgy deal and PEC sell out shows. We need this website more than anybody, and welcome any support of course. But the others - MPs, union leaders, managers etc - are only here to try to sell us the deal.

Strangely I think it would be good if they did. Reason being is that at least they would get a gist of the depth of feeling from grass root posties who are actually doing the job. At the moment all they are getting is CWU Leaders and Royal Mail management spin. You never know we might change their mind, or they may change ours.

I believe they are aware of the site but there is a layer of management between RMC and them and they are spinning what they see on here. In fact it may be where the "Dark Side" and Union Activists comments come from.
