on past experience of " no " outcome, both parties will react depending on the percentages. if its a reasonably close call i,m sure there will be one or two minor alterations and a re ballot, as we have seen before. if it,s a "yes", then those solid "no,s " will be seen , obviously, as a minority and their views ignored. if it,s a massive "no", then we will see if we have a union or not, because rm will have a choice of negotiating with cwu again or implementation. cwu will then have to start listening to us for the first time. in my office of 60 staff, i have recommended that all members read as much info as possible and then make up their own mind. i personally have voted "no", and one or two have asked for my recommendation. i know of only one "yes" vote in my office. essex ( ss postcodes) have recommended a NO vote.

oxy-moron - Definition http://encyclopedia.tfd.com/Oxy+moron
An oxymoron (plural oxymorons or, more rarely, oxymora) is a figure of speech that combines two normally contradictory terms. Oxymoron is a loanword from Greek oxy ("sharp") and moros ("dull"). Thus the word oxymoron is itself an oxymoron.
An oxymoron is used mainly to create humour thus, for example leading an audience watching a play, to think about what's happening and give them a deeper more meaningful understanding of the text.
Oxymorons are a proper subset of the expressions called contradictions in terms. What distinguishes oxymorons from other paradoxes and contradictions is that they are used intentionally, for rhetorical effect, and the contradiction is only apparent, as the combination of terms provides a novel expression of some concept, such as "cruel to be kind".
The most common form of oxymoron involves an adjective-noun combination. For example, the following line from Tennyson's Idylls of the King contains two oxymorons:
"And faith unfaithful kept him falsely true"
Oxymorons can also be wooden irons in that they are in violation of the Principle of contradiction which asserts that nothing can be thought if it contains contradictory characteristics, predicates, attributes, or qualities.
So he was not calling you a poxy moron

BTW Teebs, I knew Belial was having a laugh from his smilies & anyway, I haven't used the words "poxy" or "moron" since about the age of 9 ( well, maybe I have - but only after prefixing them with "f*cking" "sh*tty" "c*ntish" "wanky" or any variations thereof )

No bother - if I did have a problem, I'd have slapped a PM over to B's direction.....and been as diplomatic as someone facing up to a DIM itching to sack peopleTrueBlueTerrier wrote:Cheers lads I thought it was a wind up but for some reason I had my Moderator hat on.![]()
