How many other RDC's have got Driver Coaches. We have just registered disagreement on them at NHCDC as there is no natioonal agreement on them yet, but we are being told that other regions have them. Whats the score colleagues, have you got them and what are the terms of reference that you are working on?

We took our advert off the board tonight. There is no agreement for this job. HQ are supporting us in doing this so you need to get it taken down as soon as and get your reps to register disagreement.

there is no National Agreement contact Terry Pullingers dept. NO reference was agreed in the Professional Drivers Agreement although it is mentioned in the document, no further action was taken on it as RM have so far failed to speak to HQ.

We are being threatened with all sorts at the moment. Taking the (unagreed) jobs away and giving them to outside contractors, our facility time will be on the table at any time cos thats the type of guv'nor we work to. Constant phone calls telling us we are in the wrong.....WATCH THIS SPACE.

Boxing Day Duties

Post by smudger54 »

We got informed today that they are asking for volunteers on Boxing Day for duties and that if there is not enough they 'will allocate drivers to duties nearest their nearest start time or a you, you and you basis'
This has got to be a sign of bullyboy tactics now being used?.

I agree with you on the boxing day duties, afterall I am constantly being told it was in our professional drivers agreement, to which no one voted for!!!!!!!!!!!

Also it does not seem fair that in our depot it will again be the night drivers who have to come in. What about the blokes who have no weekend duties and are on earlies!!!

I am a network driver at nwrdc and we got four driver coaches, this was agreed with CWU here and management.
As for the terms of reference, am sure if you contact our driver reps then am sure they would discuss this with you, it seems to working okay and there has not been any issues, or problems
