Local delivery office advertising

My local do is advertising a vacancy. I went to apply but got a message saying ‘I already applied ‘ and will not let me apply again.
The thing is they are using an old advert which I applied then and the position was withdrawn. So now I cannot apply.
What do you think I should do? I really want to work for Royal Mail but not being given a chance.

You have just got to apply for anything that comes up in your area.

Get your foot in the door then when the depo u get the job with loans u out to another depo (which they do often)

Make a good impression & let the manager at the closer depo know that u'd be interested in transferring to there coz it's closer

Basically just get your foot in the door it's hard enough getting a job with RM waiting for the perfect one is near impossible

I applied to several advertised jobs & got an interview with the one that was farthest away from me

I was exceptionally lucky in that I already knew the manager at my local depo & he had an employee that lived closer to the depo where I'd got the job

So I luckily managed to get a transfer before I even started

I've been told that kind of thing is very rare though

I’ve got an interview today at one that’s not very far from me at all. Thing is I get so nervous that I don’t come across as the person I would do on the job! I’m hoping I keep calm and come across that I really want the job.
