Over the summer it has been impossible for the managers to pair f/t with p/t on van share duties.
As there was so little indoor work, the full timers have the van ready and loaded about 30 minutes before the p/t staff start.
So it has been f/t with f/t leaving before the p/t start and p/t with p/t coming in to a half prepped frame.
What do you mean you can't lapse?
(A wicked part of me wanted to get every part timer to phone in sick about 5 minutes before their duty starts.)

The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

ney backbone from management allows the 'golden boys' to continue to slackarse their way through another day - meanwhile the pt mop-up muppets get the usual backlash from the spineless shitehawk mngrs whom expect us to be grateful for any 'extra' hrs; even tho we don't want it. I saw 2 ft slope off at 1350hrs on a thurs finish 1520 AND THEY LEFT IN LAPSING THE CHEEKY UNCTS! morale booster that.clashcityrocker wrote:Over the summer it has been impossible for the managers to pair f/t with p/t on van share duties.

We don’t have ‘signed into’ full time van shares, we have full staff as reserves who cover van shares.themailman wrote:What's the problem if you can't have 2 FT together?readingpete wrote:We’re having issues in our office with our manager refusing to allow two full timers to sign into a van share.
Does anyone else have two full timers signed into a van share? If so could you reply with your office name please?
Cheers!
Maybe your manager has noticed full time pairings leaving 30-60 minutes before anyone else and has decided to stop it?
We’re advertising the vacant duties and there are a lot of full time reserves but the duties available are mainly designated ‘PT’.

Yeah I totally get that. All I was going to say to her was X office has full timers in a van share as does this office and that office does too.Trail wrote:Yes there are quite a few at my office, but there's no way I'm giving you which office it is. I get that people might not want to share their office.
