RMTV:Parcelforce ltd : What's it all about/CWU briefing

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Utter, utter bollocks. They can make decisions right now as is. This is about lining it up to make drastic changes, sell off, out source etc. Otherwise why do it?
CUT OFF!!!

Yeah the video is fairly condescending and they are just lying to our faces.

It’s all about a race to the bottom. Rather than finding ways to increase income, they are just looking to cut costs. They are probably already approaching haulage companies, window shopping, with a view to doing away with logistics and probably doing the same with Romec too.

Too lazy to try to innovate and come up with new ideas and just taking the easy option to make a fast buck now, with no regard for the future, because as we all know upper management never hang around long, they turn up, fill their pockets and do one.

Every decision management make is detrimental to front line staff and hampers their ability to get the job done and then they have the nerve to turn around and blame those same staff and call them lazy and threaten disciplinary action.

Nobody wants to strike and everyone talks about the loss of income, but I think we’re going to have to think of the loss of income this time around as an investment in our future. It’ll sting a bit, but not as much as a pay drop and a crap pension will later on or possibly even nothing at all for some.

You watch the bullying and harassment skyrocket too as a way to try and thin us out and wear us down.

Loss of income has already happened within a few depots,as they have had a route review,,reduction in SA,drop in hours resulting in a drop of income for some drivers of 500 quid a month..that drop impacts on holiday pay as well,,and those same depots are using more and more agency to cover the pressure of work,
If and when industrial action comes, those same agency drivers will have no qualms about crossing a picket line since if they refuse to cross the picket line ,the agency that they work for will blacklist them and they will get no more work,,and not just from that agency either,,a lot of agencies share info on their workers,so those drivers will find it impossible to find work of any kind,.its a shocking state of affair when we have a reputable company treating its workforce worse than dog s**t.
Do the job by the book,,start at your start time,,take your breaks and finish at your official finishing time,,never do unpaid work,,and always remember to do your daily vehicle checks,,if it aint roadworthy, take it off the road,,play them at their own game.

Is Gary Simpson going to be doing his live tour around the depots like he did last time? He might find his audience numbers have dropped.
