Aye - well I think I'll still give it a miss.
Some say that the original "Oliver" was actually based in Liverpool in the early/mid 1800s though Lionel Bart set it in London because it was more romantic and people would understand the accent better.
Billy Hayes is from Liverpool and there has certainly been a pocket and a pension or two picked with this deal.

So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

In truth ky I don't live too far away from Liverpool or Manchester about equidistant from both and I have to be truthful and say it is absolutely years since I have been to either - I also live close to Blackpool and never go there either - though I do go to Southport frequentlyish - I hate big cities and crowds but I don't think there is anything wrong with me - I haven't been abroad in more than 30 years - and so I suppose I fall into the parochially boring category who does't want to be mugged from, begged off or try to understand a foreign accent - but enough of Liverpool ........................
I don't use Microsoft so no copy & paste with URL's , I've typed them exactly as they appear on the address bar but I'm getting Malformed URL's . There is a inbreeding problem . The Happy Valley , Kirkham Vasey/ Clifton in the Wyre , or South of "The Nile ", Chorley etc , a lot of it stems from the First World War , most of the gene pool got shot at the Somme , Passchendale , Xipres etc or just plain insularity .
There's one called The Lancashire Hotpots at the Bitter Suite , Preston , my mate's a partner in that Enterprise . We got invited to a free P*** up for trade customers at
The Lancashire Hot Pots are total crap. They got booed off when they played at a Widnes game a few months ago. They should be re-named the Northern Stereotype Gobshites.

What would you know about places like Kentucky? The nearest an inbred like you would get is eating a piece of fried chicken.
