Laura Chaisty found note from Royal Mail postie revealing unique place package was left
We've all seen horror stories about delivery drivers leaving parcels in bins and out in the rain but one postie went above and beyond to make sure the parcel was safe.
Laura Chaisty had been at work when the postman came to deliver her parcel, but they weren't going to be put off from delivering the item.
She arrived home from work to a delivery note which revealed the worker's unique solution to no-one being in.
Written on the red note, the message said: "Your top window was wide open, I threw it in there."
But that wasn't all - the small parcel landed on the 27-year-old's bed, safe and sound.
Laura, from Faringdon in Oxfordshire, took to Facebook to share pictures of the hilarious delivery, captioning the images: "Royal Mail have made my day today!"
The three images showed the delivery note, the open window and the parcel where it landed on the bed.
The post has attracted thousands of shares with people finding it hilarious.
One commented saying: "Good shot," whilst another added, "that's amazing."
Speaking to Birmingham Live, she added: "The postie needs to play cricket with that aim."
