Just started lgv and was wondering if the 1st hour of break factored into hourly rate or is it a separate payment on your payslip

Streamline/ LGV don't get paid for meal relief anymore. It's mostly only delivery and MCs that still do. For now much longer?

Yes but as part of the shorter working week agreement. Lgv drivers hours didn’t reduce but just agreed an additional payment of 1 hour for the first hour break of the week. So I was just wondering if it’s separate on the pay slip or incorporated into the hourly rate/salary

It’s put on top on monthly wage, it works out about extra £60/70 month as we get paid monthly, so you won’t see it as a separate payment unless it’s back dated.

That’s a big jump! Worth a try if the job comes available then. What are the class 1 drivers on then?

Yeah about that! I think it’s 2.5k pa less than class 1. It’s also worth remembering that hgv is based on a 36 1/4 week. Inner London also attracts London weighting payment of around 4.5 k pa on top of this too.

Class C national = £30,114
Class C+E national = £32,137

These are basic rates, London is higher, then there's night/shift allowances on top.
