If you didn't do it , you didn't do it. Does the yard have CCTV ? If it does , you're in the clear , if not the DIM can't prove you did it. Stick to your guns. Our yards that tight since we lost our secondary parking it's like a demolition derby some mornings.

Could be vandalism if just a head light ask them to substantiate their claims it is not for you to protect the van all it's working day people do hit other vans and not report it. It is a case of managers not doing a fleet report everyday and they just look for someone too blame don't accept blame if you did not do it taking one for the team is just saving a lazy managers ass!

You left the van in good condition the manager should have investigated at the time it must have been hit while parked or someone went to use it and had a knock.

Yeah that's my thinking, no pictures were taken so any additional scratches/damage could have been done any time in the last 6 weeks.

Well I guess somebody knows something about, but maybe not? Yet another reporting system that involves honesty, and the fear of reprisals if you are, funny how defects just suddenly appear which can’t be explained, and left to you to report it and deal with because someone can’t be bothered,I reported my vans passengers seat belt plugged in on takeover,I wasn’t going to be sacked for that, yet another carpet sweeping job!,stand your ground and tell it how it is!

Well said my friend, just like our yard, the yard risk assessment is farcical to say the least, with nice big vans in a tiny yard, priceless.
