Yeah right - what else would you expect from the Liverpool Echo - and for your information there is nothing wrong with having a hirsute girlfriend - or maybe that should be hirwool - it saves turning the electric blanket on, and "no" and "I'm too tired" never enters the conversation.IWW Fellow Worker wrote:Read this sheepshagging woolyback twat!dvbuk55 wrote:Of course you are only joking - who can afford new wheels for the car at this time of year? Hi mate i hope you realise its all tongue in cheek.haveagojoe wrote:Even on here Liverpool gets slagged at least we show how to stand together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I support Liverpool even though i am a wool but i do go to nearly every game home or away and i have some great scouse mates.
When i meet them we all have a great crack about being a soveneeer from down here and them leaving my stereo alone but its all done in good faith.
You have all shown us what great solidarity and what high principles you have and i am sure that everyone on here takes their hat of to you and wishes their office had big enough bollox to do the same. Respect mate.

Most of the so called crime is petty
Churchill didn't send the troops into Liverpool to break the General Strike in 1924? or 6? for nothing.haveagojoe wrote:Even on here Liverpool gets slagged at least we show how to stand together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A lot of it goes back to the docks and people having to line up & be picked for work .
In another Industry , they'd send the worst managers ( usually the one's the cockneys had seen off ?!} to sort the RMT/ASLEF out without success . It made me laugh as there was far worse problems especially with a SWP influence in "crime free" Manchester down the East Lancs Rd.
The Scousers just need handling right and it's usually best done by their own, that's not going to happen with RM.

Only by s**t kicking inbreds from the sticks.haveagojoe wrote:Even on here Liverpool gets slagged at least we show how to stand together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Norbet, that was 1911 during the transport strike when the troops fired on the striking dockers and carters and the Government send HMS Antrim into the Mersey. I'm very proud to say my grandad was a striking railwayman working for the Lancs & Yorks Rly, and my great-grandad was on strike from the Corporation street lighting department. We only have one Evertonian in the family, and even he's a Red when it comes to politics.

Long History
I've heard the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway used to have a manager in his top hat run a white cloth on the steam train and try & sack people for having a dirty engine . I think the cynicism that people got from WW1 and practices like that contributed to the general strike .IWW Fellow Worker wrote:Only by s**t kicking inbreds from the sticks.haveagojoe wrote:Even on here Liverpool gets slagged at least we show how to stand together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Grandad was involved in a building strike at Maghull , I think it was that council estate you can see from the left hand side of the train , McAlpine got people in from Dublin to replace them. Bill McAlpine was a big contributor to the Tory Party . The Ricky Hatton case was a fit up RM would be proud of .
I think I got that bit off a Journalist -now there's a surprise .
