I’m 3 weeks in and I’m knackered. Outside work Ive always walked a good 6 miles a day, done work delivering leaflets over large areas and my last job was pretty physical so my body feels fine, but Im so tired. How long before the tiredness lifts?
Seriously wishing Id stuck with my old job.

I'm 3 months in now and don't really notice the tiredness although I do find myself falling asleep watching TV sometimes. I get far fewer aches and pains and as long as I get to bed around 10 pm, I'm fine.
Strangely enough I felt extremely tired yesterday after having a easy Sunday at home but today I feel fine.

I’m trying to think back 10 yrs when I did the job before, I know I was knackered at the start but cannot recall when that lifted, couple of months maybe? Think it’s always worse after a day off

It took me about 6 months, but I started at the end of the summer 2018. Had the initial learning curve to contend with and then straight into xmas chaos!
The new year was much easier by comparison.
I float around a lot now so some days are easier than others, depending upon the route/mail volume/any overtime hrs etc
It is never "easy" but is certainly more manageable than when I started.

Shocking 3 weeks in & still no uninform, I would say that is because you've left it to you manager to order it for you? You should now have a pay number phone this number 01332 697118 & order you basic kit it will be with you by Friday, if you leave it to your manager & being female ( they think you'll probably quit) it will be another 3 months.

My uniform was ready & waiting for me on day one, but more like size 20 than size 10 so needed my manager to return it. Still waiting on replacement. To be honest it’s so disorganised Im considering quitting, cannot believe such a big organisation doesn’t know what they are doing.mattycash wrote:Shocking 3 weeks in & still no uninform, I would say that is because you've left it to you manager to order it for you? I would say your kit is still in your managers office then, you should have filled the return form in & do it yourself & chucked it back with the letterbox mail, phone that number & ask if they've had your return yet? Give them your managers name & office & order some kit that fits you, shocking the way managers & some posties treat new starters
