Some people

Post by blueboy »

While enjoying a well earned weekend away, while sat in the hotel bar my other half began speaking to the couple next to us.

One of them came from Sheffield and it turned out she worked for Royal Mail, another postie I thought but no she worked in payroll.

She then went on saying with great delight how she enjoyed docking the wages of us when we where on strike and how she had enjoyed her weekend overtime in the mail centre. Whilst the other half tried to fight our corner (I just didn't want to converse with this character) as it didn't involve her she didn't seem bothered. As soon as I mentioned pensions she was saying how bad it all is.

What a change in attitude.

Should have mentioned when l&c get their way and we go to monthly pay you'd enjoy seeing her down the job centre as the majority of them will be surplus to requirements :left:
