With the 12 minutes before and after the 1 October you will walk 24 minutes less because all the big packets parcels you will not do!
Except for the extra 1/6th of a delivery you will get added after they collapse 1 in every 6 walks...
The only thing that you care about is the work if you all thought about your contractual hours ie Start finish times and took your meal relief they can do what they want add 500 drops so what if you don't have the time to do it bring it back some people on here are so thick you would think they are managers your job is to do not to make it happen. Even if if falls flat on it's face the job or duty is not yours you are contractually obligated to do xx.xx till xx.xx after that they can do it themselves and earn their bonus which is pensionable we are not there to make it so!
yes they can add what they want but I’m already going over in a so called lighter period, so if they reduce by 1 hour then I will cut off even more than o am now unless there really is a big reduction in mail!

Why are you taking personal responsibility for the actions of management if you go over cut off does it matter what the size of cut off is. The only deficiency is in the people who cannot plan the duties as to your sorry state why care you come in and go home do your job and let the twats that thought this up clear the office themselves!

I have absolutely no issue with working till my time, or working over and claiming overtime. However I can be pretty certain that management will start putting pressure on staff to take the extra 1/5th of the collapsed walk, whether they have time or not.

Relating to the collapsed walk, didn't the Union just agree to the extra wings on the frame? If so then I assume mass revisions will take place so the walk frames will be bigger and the collapsed walk would disappear. Thus freeing up room in the office for growth.

1 hour reduction - unlikely. 35 hour week is just a pipe dream also. If it is it would probably be with unpaid breaks.

In our office, the hour could easily come off on a Tuesday. Some rounds are done by 12 and paid till 2.20pm.

I haven't finished before my time on a Tuesday for around 7 months.

It will work in our office because there are plenty of guys already coming in early unpaid and giving away hours for free.
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.
