I'm the office spare next week also. It's if somebody calls in sick and you can cover

You will be covering absences and annual leave. You will be learning a few different rounds :).

I'm also going to be the office spare in a few weeks. What do you do when nobody calls in sick or is on leave ?

Help sort packets etc first thing, then take lapsing or extra loops people have left behind. If all else fails I've been stuck throwing off D2D's for random frames until they found me something to do.

Thanks bardeh, I've been on the same walk for 8 weeks now so being a spare sounds like it's going to be very different.

I was spare this week. Did 2 days delivering one of the lapsing frames on my own, two days covering someone off sick with someone else and one day in a different office.
I much prefer the randomness than doing the same walk day after day.
