I was recently offered a post and given an induction date and I sent over all of my bank details, holidays etc. I received an email yesterday to say I have not passed the security checks and could not be offered the job.
To say im disappointed would be a massive understatement. I have no criminal record and a clean driving licence. Do anyone know what else it could be? I did work at Royal Mail for years but left about 15 years ago. I have written to the vetting department (as they dont have a contact number or email address) and wait the reason but in the meantime my job will probably have gone. Is there an appeals process????
Can anyone please help me??
