Soldier’s gifts ban by postie
THE Royal Mail refused to send a parcel free to a squaddie in Afghanistan because it was a FIFTH of a gramme overweight – caused by two poppies.
Staff originally accepted the package from Darren Smith containing books and other goods.

linkinpark - I think you have it spot on.
I served and I am
1. Against the War - IMHO its illegal (Iraq) Afghanistan - (no clear strategic plan)
but
2. I Support the Troops (some of whom I know).
If you are against the war whatever you do don't turn it against the service personnel like the yanks did over Vietnam. The polticians are at fault not the guys and gals they sent.
