Carried over leave is irrelevant to POAL, you're purchasing against your entitlement, not against what leave you may or may not carry over any given year. For once a DOM has got something right

How does buying the extra leave work? Can I request which 2 weeks I want to buy or do I get additional holidays but they tell me when to take them? Just trying to plan a big holiday celebration for a 40th birthday.
Has the method for purchasing annual leave changed? I was told earlier it isn't done via a form anymore. I was going to ask my lino but then had a word with myself...

Done though psp. Ask your lino to to do it. If your not happy or are then still unsure with the outcome contact you're rep or area rep for clarification. That is what your lino and union are there for. Of course this all depends wether or not you are in the union.

It is still done via a form and then entered onto PSP, it can only usually be done between November and February - so it is in place for the next financial year

You can buy up to the equivalent of 6 weeks, so in your case, it should be 6x3 days.
