Manager -got a complaint here.You didn’t leave parcel in customers safe place
Me Where is safe place?
Manager (reading paperwork) Erm I don’t know.
Me - didnt She say when She phoned to complain?
Manager- Erm doesnt look like it

Well , sounds like it should have been printed on the parcel but wasn’t.Also because the customer happened to have mentioned her safe place to a floating cover things He told everyone else where parcels can be left!!!

Safe place only applies to tracked and only when it specifically says on the parcel where to leave it. Even then if you believe it to be unsafe you can deliver to neighbour or P739 it. If she has a tracking number you can check if she had a safe place on the tracking enquiry system, otherwise the manager should be challenging the complaint on your behalf

Bottom line as far as I'm concerned is if I can't lock it when I've left it (ie padlock with code number) then it isn't safe !
