You used to get 5 minutes but that was in the 90s. I think it might have been a local thing but all the small perks have gone. At least the money is better now.

It used to be dependent on local agreements, which were scrapped under the Way Forward Agreement iirc. At my mc we used to get a 10 minute 'washing up' end of duty concession.

At my old mail centre (NDO) we used to get a 15 minute news break a 6pm.
Happy days with double time after 12 hours and Nda on overtime.
