Forms I need to send

I have a starters checklist, uniform order, expression of wish form. The other forms I don’t need to print off. I’ve filled out most of it but I’m unsure of my pay number or my managers name. So I don’t know whether to post it or not. I’d like to get my uniform early and put on the right tax code. When do they send out the contract with those details? Should I wait until I got that or post it off anyway? Thanks in advance

Hi! My contract came about two days before the induction so I just took all my forms with me to that and handed them in there- from what I can remember quite a few others did that as well.

I ordered my basic uniform on my first day at DO, and it came around 3 days later- I might be wrong but I dont think you can actually order it until you start anyway.

You can’t order your uniform until your start date. If you read the form it tells you to call the number once you’ve started and order that way. If you haven’t received your contract by your induction day (mine didn’t come until 3 weeks after I started!) they will give you your payroll number at induction. I ordered mine on my first day at the DO and it will arrive 3-5 days as long as it’s in stock. You don’t need to send the form off, it’s just supposed to help guide you through the process but when I called they basically just went through each item you’re entitled to and asked what sizes I’d like. Really simple and a 2 minute job. Hope this helps.
