I think a great idea. being able to work on your own again, much easier then having a partner that's too fast or too slow, or expects you the driver to do all the work. :Very Happy

Dont see any window wipers on them or indicators . surely if your driving these on public roads you need indicators ? Its seems a bit crazy I cant walk outside to the yard to pull a York in without a high vis on or the health and safety guy is all over it but their happy to put us out on the main road on these things.

Tell you what if its not an April fool, let those who who thought of it trial it out,not just for a week or so,but for months, when the mails heavy, the weathers bad,the roads are busy, terrain is hilly, nights are drawing in and just see how they get on.............

They are fantastic to use - Jude Stirling.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

I wonder how difficult it is to push an e-trike if you had a flat tyre with 6 or 7 bags of mail in the back?? :hmmmm
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.

The lack of windscreen wipers really would surely be an issue?

Have you ever tried driving a car in the rain with wipers that are inoperative or ineffective?

I know this may sound a bit daft, but yes they could work in some areas, however theses days people are absorbed on their phones and won't hear or see you coming in a semi pedestrian area where these will probably work best I can't see them being as manouverable as a bike.

Just think all the vans they can get rid of, not have to buy new vans and the cost ie purchase price, tax, insurance, mot, servicing, breakdowns, repairs and fuel. :thumbup :thumbup

Not as hard as a van with a flat tyre
