OK i will join in Let me start by saing both me and the wife will vote no HOWEVER and here is where in a way i agree with Spedly when we get the no vote which i think ( and hope ) we will where do we go, RM will no doubt then invoke executive action for the changes !! This Union revolves around YOU AND ME and all the other members, not the Union hierarchy. They are elected to represent our interests, if they are not seen to defend our interests they risk being thrown out at the next election. If the "NO" vote goes thru' Hayes and Ward still have to come up with a "what do we do now" action plan, but the no vote will seriously put the union gaffers in a state of reality with what the rank and file think. without strong leadership we are basiccaly stuck they have shown there ground RM or not going to give those two any more ( Deleted and censored ) so any body who has an idea please feel free we can not vote yes we hopefully will get a no then what !!

Motion carried for this is the spirit all to sadley lacking in some people for we must aim for the star's not sit on our backside's and give up before it has even begun!. Anyone who lost eight days pay who then doesn't use their vote at all is beyond my comprehension.
Anyone who didn't strike is beneath contempt and a total hypocrite if they then vote for a deal they played no part in winning.
There were loads of people in my office who started out believing RM were telling the truth when they said 'there is no more money'. Those people asked me 'what could possibly be achieved by striking?'. I told them openly that I didn't know, but you'll never know if you don't return a resounding YES to a ballot for Industrial Action. They voted Yes, and backed the strikes, and won a better pay settlement. Now we have people bleating 'what could possibly be achieved by returning a NO to the proposed agreement? Who knows ? I don't. But if a deal is unacceptable, then it's unacceptable and should be firmly rejected.
