Robbers wearing balaclavas led a frightening raid that left a Post Office employee injured.
Three masked robbers entered Wolvey Post Office, near Hinckley, with a knife and left a woman with a cut on her hand.
The member of staff didn't need hospital treatment, but was assessed by paramedics who were called to the scene.
The raid happened on Monday morning (March 11) when the trio threatened the woman with a knife, Coventry Live reports.
Empty-handed, the suspects then fled the shop and made off in a grey Audi.
The alarm was raised with the police who also contacted WMAS.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson said an ambulance was sent to the scene at around midday and one woman was treated for a minor injury and declined hospital treatment.
Warwickshire Police Force say investigations are ongoing to try and trace the trio.
“While no arrests have been made, investigations are ongoing and anyone with any information is asked to call police,” a force spokesperson said.
Anyone who can help should call Warwickshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 164 of March 11.
