Yeah been offered a position today after only 3 wk on the waiting list bit further than I wanted but I'm ok with that just filled in details for security checks,guessing I just have to wait now hope it's not too long though

Had email today with formal offer and start date of 8th April for induction and at the DO the following day,it's happened very quickly for me,it's taken only 3 days from them offering me the position and starting all checks to the formal offer today,starting to feel very real now nervous and excited.

Just got the email to say i have passed the checks. Got my start date and induction day a week ago.

I will be working at a DO 18 miles away, it's not a problem but hopefully i can transfer closer to home at some point.

Congratulations Partyondude.
I've almost finished my first week working at a DO that's 17 miles away. I've been training all week and tomorrow is my first day without my coach.
It's been great so far with proper coaching, I've done a few loops on my own, I've been shown how to prepare the mail and tie up and how to use the PDA.
It's been a easy week TBH and the weather has been great. I've not had any aches and pains yet but I'm sure that will change next week.
