FIT FOR PURPOSE?

Post by tenpole tudorsack »

As we seem to have an "all in favour say aye" proposition from both Company AND Union, who would you say is not fit to be in the position they currently hold?

I voted that squeeky voiced w****r, Adam Crozier. I'd gladly boot that twat from one end of my street to the other. Come to think of it though, as
bigsharkboy has already mentioned, if there had been an "all of the above" option, I'd have ticked it.

It's the same every time isn't it. Each year RM offer pennies with a list of strings attached, each year the union say NO, let's negotiate or we'll have a strike ballot. Each year they reach a settlement of the same pay rise but only half the strings. This year RM refused to budge and actually added more strings. That's what happens when you have business men in charge, they treat it like a business and the workers like s***. I can't stand either Leighton or Crozier and I think RM would be a better place and offer a better service to the public without them. Hayes and Ward were out of their depth trying to negotiate with RM this time round. It was a major mistake to keep the membership in the dark during the months of negotiation. If we had at least known how things were going, or the difficulties the union team were facing, we wouldn't have expected an improved offer. My vote however goes to the PEC members who endorsed this deal then took what was it, 9 days to let us know what they had agreed on our behalf! They knew what we had lost during the strikes, and how much more we were willing to lose to reach a settlement that we would accept. They knew the score but decided to boot the ball into our own goal. That's why they should go. At the next elections I'm voting for whoever isn't on the PEC now. Those who voted against better let us know who they are 'cos their cushy number is almost up.

Could of done with more than one vote in that poll
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets
