pop it in pete wrote:Do want them full stop. Dont have them in my house why should i deliver this unwanted crap to other peoples houses. Within the next year councils will be weighing household rubbish and charging accordingly. So more and more people will reject them. If we are not to be paid for them then we should just help the customers to the opt out forms and "lighten our load". Save the planet scrap D2D.
Customers put them in the recycle bin not the rubbish bin. Councils won't be charging people for what they recycle.

If I got 10p each one I might have to think about delivering them. Cos it would cut down on waste, be very green bit like a carbon tax or road pricing or fuel tax, but it don't work like that hmm strange

one per day as long as you are given time to prep and the walk has been tested for 100% call rate minimum 2p per item but they would never agree to it
because it would mess up their flexibility plans as you would not have any spare time on your delivery

We have been told that RoyalFail want us to deliver D2D for free. Therefore the "pay increase" has gone in one step.

We hate them, the customers don't want them so what's the f***ing point!

If we HAVE to do them (ideally with pay) I agree with the sealed envelope idea, however occasionally the extra weight would be a massive burden!

The sealed envolope idea will not come into fruition as it's a carbon footprint issue ? or certainly a green one as it going to create yet more for the bin or recycling.
Do belive there has already been objections against it and think that even royal mail with all it's greed will not opose that and i belive the idea has already been shelved

Can't imagine the producers of the leaflets wanting them shrink-wrapped as the public will never open them, and who would pay for their leaflet to be 'piggy in the middle'? (Remember we are meant to post them separately at the mo  )

the way i see it if you read into the agreement(proposed) if accepted the working groups will look into various things including households and the new delivery model. yes thats right you heard me the new delivery model and you can be certain it aint gonna be no picnic, not only are you gonna be expected to prep another walk but your own walk will probably grow to about 5 hours so you can imagine the amount of households you will have then, and you will be expected to deliver them within your delivery time for nothing!
this may not be what they want exactly but remember this thread and come back to me when it has happened and im pretty sure i wont be that far wrong! :cuppa :pray
